LUCY'S JOURNEY INTO PARENTHOOD

Lucy is our Lead Dance Artist and has been connected to Dance Mama since her pregnancy in 2018, and has enabled Dance Mama to track her progress through interviews over her journey.

The below vlog she recorded whilst on maternity leave from Rambert shown in a presentation led by Dance Mama at One Dance UK's 2018 conference in Leeds on 23 November 2018.

Over the her pregnancy,  Dance Mama connected her to Dr Steve Ingham (Founder, Supporting Champions) who is an eminent physiologist to over 200 Olympians and author, which he speaks about in Dance Mama Live.  Dr Steve was part of the team who supported Dame  Jessica Ennish-Hill to win the world title for the Heptathlon (for a third time!) in 2015 and Silver Medal for the Heptathlon in the Olympic Games 2016, Rio de Janeiro, after her first child - a point of inspiration for Lucy as she journeyed through her pregnancy whilst at Rambert.

Dr Steve also recorded the Support Champions podcast below with Lucy  in 2018, via her connection to Dance Mama during her pregnancy.
