'It's been quite an amazing experience!'

Lucy is currently on maternity leave from Rambert with her baby. She was kind enough to record this vlog for us about how's she's been getting on in time for a session led by Dance Mama at One Dance UK's 2018 conference in Leeds on 23 November 2018.

Over the her pregnancy, I checked in with Lucy as she journeyed through her pregnancy whilst at Rambert.

Chatting in the office one day we thought about other Mothers in physically demanding industries who have achieved great success, and got talking about Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill. After doing some research into who her team was, I was privileged to connect Lucy with Dr Steve Ingham from her team - author and physiologist to elite athletes. He was part of the team that enabled her to win the world title for the Heptathlon (for a third time!) in 2015 and Silver Medal for the Heptathlon in the Olympic Games 2016, Rio de Janeiro, after her first child.

Steve brilliantly came down to Rambert to meet Lucy and recorded this podcast for his company Supporting Champions. It's a fantastic insight into Lucy's career and approach to pregnancy as a elite performer.
